Ladies Interclub Final 2025
Norwood Park Golf Club were the hosts of the 2025 Ladies Interclub Final on Monday 1st September. The course was in great condition even allowing for the couple of heavy downpours during the afternoon, which failed to put the teams off their stride!
The final was between the teams from Stanton on the Wolds and Rushcliffe and Stanton won the toss to tee off first. Out first were Jane Harby and Fran Tunicliffe (Stanton) against Sue Green and Sue Maine (Rushcliffe). Stanton took a lead and held on to it to win 4up. The second match between Jan Hooley and Elaine Shelton (Stanton) and Jean Wilson and Jenny Reed (Rushcliffe) was a closer match, and was eventually won by Rushcliffe 2up. The aggregate score of 2up gave Stanton the victory and the trophy.
Congratulations to the Stanton team! The matches were played in great spirit and the supporters made for a lovely atmosphere.
