Second Team Away Match v Leicestershire
This was a very tough fixture away at Kirby Muxloe, where local knowledge was advantageous.
Suzanne Pretty made her debut for Nottinghamshire against her home county of Leicestershire. Sue West, Maddison Clarke, Janet Peters, Jorja Newbold and Charlie Inger were the other members of the squad.
After an overcast morning, the sun kept popping in and out, but unfortunately it wasn't shining on Nottinghamshire. After the foursomes we were down 2 1/2 to a 1/2. In the afternoon Jorja and Janet were victorious in the singles but Leicestershire won the other 4, the matches were very close and went to the 17th or 18th.
