Second Team Home Match v Leicestershire
This was the first NCLGA 2nd Team match of 2025 and it was against Leicestershire at Oakmere Park G.C on Wednesday 16th July.
The team was Millie Marsh, Jorja Newbold, Ellen Sanderson, and we had four 2nd team debuts from Amelia Hothersall, Janet Peters, Ellie Wang and Sue West.
After the mornings Foursomes, pairings of Jorja & Elle, MeMe & Janet and 10 year old Ellie with Sue, we were leading 2 1/2 to a half. The singles matches in the afternoon were halved 3-3 therefore resulting in an overall win of 5 1/2 to 3 1/2. (Millie did win her game but was ineligible because she played twice in this years MNR Regional finals, so her game was conceded.) Full results sheet here.
