On 14th April, the junior girls demonstrated incredible teamwork and dedication at The Nottinghamshire, where they took part in the annual club cleaning fundraiser during the County Waltz competition.
Battling blustery conditions, the girls worked tirelessly to clean numerous golf clubs and trolleys (even using a toothbrush at one point to get into the nooks and crannies of the wheels!), all in the name of raising funds for junior golf. Their commitment paid off, as they successfully raised £300, a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work.
A huge congratulations to the girls for their efforts and perseverance in challenging weather conditions. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude truly embodied the spirit of the junior section.
A special thank you must also go to the parents who supported the event and to the golfers at The Nottinghamshire who generously contributed to the fundraiser. Your kindness and encouragement made a real difference.
The funds raised will go towards supporting junior golf development, helping to provide opportunities for young players to thrive both on and off the course. Well done, all!
