I would like to thank All the players that have played in the 2nd team this year. The matches have all been played in a great spirit and i hope that all those that played have enjoyed and taken something from this type of format. I would especially like to that the stalwarts of the 2nd team who continue to give up their time to play and are hopefully passing on their experience to the youngsters

I would like to point out that our policy in the 2nd team is to give "up and coming" youngsters experience. I have tried to play as many juniors as possible on the matches some with slightly higher handicaps but hopefully the 1st team of the future. Though other counties often play very low handicaps in the 2nd team, and even some that have played in the 1st team though not yet received their colours, we still feel we are doing the right thing in encouraging our youngsters
